More magazines

I've been in a kick of creating magazine spreads and articles relating to my hiking trips. Looking at magazines like Backpacker and National Geographic, I created a fake magazine called "Passport". Which, I later found out, actually already exists...
But anyway, here are some spreads from my fake magazine.

Sedona

At the beginning of the summer I went on vacation to Sedona, Arizona. I was born in Phoenix, but when I was 3 my family moved back to Pennsylvania. On the trip, I went hiking, off-roading, and sightseeing around the amazing Red Rock Country.
And I came back home to humid rainy Amish country with 2000 photos of my trip.
Instead of just uploading them onto Facebook and let them sit in my Iphoto library, I used them to start building my Design Portfolio.

This is a picture of Butte Point, and Snoopy Rock. Look at the formation just below the copy on the right. Its supposed to be the beloved dog asleep on his dog house.

If you ever get a chance, Sedona is incredible and I really recommend a trip there. Way more impressive than the Grand Canyon.

The copy is a combination of my thoughts of the trip, and some reference from the Arizona State parks website.
